Congratulations on your journey, this was one of those "can't put it down reads. Went to the head and took my phone with me to keep reading, legs ended up going to sleep. So through sheer grit and determination I finished the whole read.

 

started reading this several times, finally got to read all the way thru. Congrats on ride a few years late but great ride and hopefully at some point I can have a story close to this.

 

I am planning on riding the 48 in 10 this upcoming June. I hadn't seen this before now, but find it interesting that my planned route is very close to his. And, like me, from Austin, lol.

 

One of my bucket list rides as well!

So, I know I've read that there are "GPS analyzed" routes to do rides like this, i.e. 48 states in shortest route, etc.

How did you plan this out? Did you find an already established route?
