Default Jackpot 4.5in touring mufflers

Anyone running these mufflers with dresser duals or any duals headers. I have a 2013 street glide with 4" mufflers now and they are to raspy, not deep loud. I don't want a 2 1 2 pipe, not load enough for me. Don't mind the minimum torque loss. How does it sound and do you like the sound. Would you buy it again. Cant find nothing on the youtube with duals. Maybe Jamie could chime in on this. Have a fuel moto a/c and pcv already. Thanks

I had them with the Fuel Moto header pipe. Sound was substantially louder but not obnoxious or raspy at all. Just a low and deep them at idle and a nice growl when you twist the wick. They do mellow out at cruise speeds too.

All agreed. I like the fact that they don't get too "raspy" and mellow out at cruising speeds. Just enough to let people know your around and to boost the ego a bit when you flip the throttle a quick twist. Love that low muscle car like rumble.

Cheers

I cannot comment on the 4" as I have the 3.5" Dyno Tunes. Love them and get compliments on the sound all the time. Not at all raspy and the Performance is very good as well. I have them mated to a Cobra Power port head pipe.

A friend of mine runs them on his RG with the Jackpot header. He loves them. The sound quality is really good, though they're louder than I prefer.

If you want to use these mufflers with true duals you will need to remove the restrictor in the left muffler so they flow the same. I have a set NOT on true duals I did this to just to be a little louder.

What kind of restrictor are you talking about, in the jackpot muffler itself. I'm running duals now with no restrictions.

Yes, in the left muffler itself. The Jackpot slip ons have a disc/cup/washer welded in the inlet of the left muffler baffle. This is designed to make more exhaust flow out of the right side with a stock or their jackpot head pipe. I broke the weld loose with a pipe and now both of mine have the same size opening from front to back in the baffle.

One thing to keep in mind with the Fuel Moto 4 1/2" slip on's is that they have a Jake- Brake tone on decel. If you like it, it's great, if you don't then it can get on your nerves pretty fast.
