Ive been reading a lot of posts lately about tour paks from Matazu. I went to their website just to see what they had. Found some things I may buy if no one has had bad experiences with them. They offer 2009-2013 4 point quick disconnect brackets, passenger back rest (complete with bar, pad and hardware) and a disconnect bracket for my tour pak at WAY below the cost of MoCo stuff. They also have the Aerorack w/light but it isn't a good enough price break to justify.

Has anyone used these parts? If so what was the quality like? If you could do it over would you spend close to 3 times more for genuine HD parts?

LOL! But...picked up an American flag and POW flag kits to mount on my tour pak from HD (PN 94901-03 & PN 94626-98). Guess where it was made!!! Im not so much worried about where its made as much as whether its total junk or not. Most all of HDs accessories are from China or some other such socialist commie country. So if it all comes from there I cant see the need to spend 3 times as much for a pretty black and orange box with a MoCo part number on it.

Heck, i like their Razor Tour Pak but I have the Harley 4 point docking system on my bike so I don't think the Tour Pak would work. If I get wind that it will work, I will have that Chinese made tour Pak on my American/Chinese bike.

 

I have their lower fairings. I think the quality and fitment was great.

 

Well I guess since I haven't heard anyone raising total hell about how crappy their stuff is Ill give them a shot.

 

The ABS is really nice..... the hardware, not so much.

I did the search and came up with a bunch. 99% of it was about the tour paks and bags. Seems everyone is fairly happy with those. There wasn't much said at all about the 09+ disconnect pieces. Ill see how good they are when I order them.
