Default Georgia Boys Dyno Tuning

So, looking at getting a stage 1 done on my 2014. Wondering if anyone has any good or bad stories from getting your bike dyno'ed at either Killer Creek in Roswell (where I bought the bike), or at Fraziers in Buford(close to home)? Just wanting an opinion on the service from each, not whether I should do one or not on just a stage 1.. My mind is made up on that one!!

What tuning device did you decide to use?

SEPST. They both say that is the tuner that they recommend and use.

John at Great South H/D in Newnan is top notch on all SE tuners.

So no one has any experience with the dyno tuning at these two dealers?

I have tried Killer Creek it was ok. I had Star Racing in Americus do my Ultra and t was a major difference in response and power. Its was a bit of a ride but well worth it for same day service.

Fraziers dyn'od my 06 right when we moved here in 07. I think the techs name was JET not sure if that was his nickname or not but he's still there. I too purchased my new limited from Killer Creek and there service department appears to be just as competent in my book.

Default fuel moto

have you looked into fuel moto? I've used their tunes for years, and it's hard to go wrong. Are there a few HP left on the table? Perhaps, but it beats all the time and money and especially guess work of a dyno tune, especially if the "tuner" doesn't know what he says he knows...

Hope it works out either way!

If all your doing is a stage one. I would get a tts or powervison tuner. These tuners have some great starter maps for stage 1and will get you just about perfect with a few vtunes. The powervison can be purchased with wide band o2 sensors for tuning while you ride. If you purchase from fuel moto they have maps that will be very close. A dyno tune in my opinion is not needed for stage 1.

Thanks guys for the responses. I have been reading about the TTS, but didnt know that i could use it myself, guess I didnt understand as much as I thought I did. LOL. I think I'll call Fuelmoto and ask if they have a map for the parts that I'm looking at using. I intend on keeping this bike for awhile and just want to do it right the first time. Thanks again.
