my 2000 gas fogs - I have always wondered why - since there is a bulb there and that little heat should dry them out -- but it doesn't. some people have tried taking them apart and really drying them - then putting them back using silicone or drilling holes to let the moisture out -- I have heard it doesn't work.

Guages, you don need no stinkin guages.

Yeah mine have fogged too. The humidity of Ohio's summers don't help. Out of our riding buddies one guy's doesn't fog. You know there is always one jerk in the group and if you look around and don't see the jerk well guess who the jerk is.

You rode your bike in the RAIN! CRAP...forget about the gauge..PAT yourself on the back and joing the WET-CLUB club. Only thgose that admot to riding in the rain can join (LOWERS RESALE PRICDE 10%). Gauges may fog up.....clears up eventually...but you can say you rode when others parked. Most will respect that.

Interesting thread, I rode this afternoon and my speedo fogged up. Parked at Cooks Corner - had a "cool treat" or two and wouldn't you know it the fog disappeared after sitting the bike in the sun for a while!
Mine does it, every so often, usually after I wash the bike and it always dries out fine.
I ignore the fog and enjoy the ride!!

Annoying problem. To lower the stress level of the fogging I try not to look at the gauges for the first 45 minutes of the ride and I never know they are fogged!!
