Asking a questions here, so this is not a debate.
Reading this post it seems like everyone that has visited the famous "speed wobble" at 70, 80 mph on a sweeper turn are on a Street Glide or batwing. Could this be because tire pressure, unloaded balanced items packed, bald tires?
I too have encountered the "death wobble" once. However, I believe mine was caused by a very big dimple in the road going into the sweeper.
It does seem like with the MoCo is trying to fix the front in issues by going to the 49mm forks up front. No more nose dives, but is this just a issue that can't be fixed.
Anyone on a Road Glide, Road King ever visit the death wobble?
Again, not a debate on which touring model is best!

no debate necessary, we already know the answer
before investing in a stabilizer, i would check the front end fall away, and also your tire pressure. you said that you checked it 4 rides ago, but that was about a month, and pressure can easily drop a couple pounds during the month.
rule everything out first before spending money.......

Hate to read these. My Dyna had massive deathwobble over 80 that was fixed with a True Track system. Sold the bike anyway. My Fat Boy was rock solid. So far so good on my 13 Road King. At this point I'll just stick my head in the sand and say...... since it hasn't happened to this bike, you are all making it up. Lol, fingers crossed!

Seems especially so with the new forks; upon initial delivery, the front end of my FLHTK felt very remote - no feel... after a long ride home, and opportunity for the tire to cool off, I found it ~6 pounds low. After airing up, it felt like a different bike. I generally do a good job keeping on top of tire pressure, but I don't recall my prior baggers being that sensitive.

I know but here in Texas temps don't normally change much so it's not uncommon for tire pressure to hold for several months at a time. My home compresser burnt up at the end of Dec and I have not replaced it yet. I always visiually check tires before rides but I will have to replace my compressor and get in the habit of checking the pressure before rifdes
