There might be some recourse if you used PayPal.
Also have a 2010 set of Knuckles to get rid of...

Ouch- always use part numbers when dealing with a seller

the first lesson of swap meets ( and I guess ebay) is do NOT tell the seller what you have...ask what the part/item is off of.
That way he has no info to base a lie on.

and You the buyer need to be good about what parts fit what bike

if you can demonstrate a mistruth or mistake on his part, you can dispute it...you'll not get the shipping back, but you may get the bid.
DOCUMENT the return shipping and pack it up really, really good.

some consider 08-later meaning 08-older, been there, never tell what you have or what you want, ask for part numbers and research unless you trust seller

I am a seller on ebay, and believe me, the buyers can pretty much send anything back, without the sellers having much say in it. In your case, you can definitely return them, and ebay will probably make the seller pay the return shipping, even if he disagrees (ebay has the right to take it out of his paypal account if they side with you). A good seller will make things right for you, or if not, ebay will!

This only works if the seller HAS money in his paypal account...If he takes it out, you can't do anything...
