Been had on ebay....
Won a set of oem knuckle wheels on ebay....conversation with seller confirmed his ad that they were for 08-later.....open the rear wheel box today....5" wide......no good for my 08 flhtc.....got a message into the seller hoping he makes it right....if not I'll have a set for sale I guess.....

Ouch- always use part numbers when dealing with a seller
the first lesson of swap meets ( and I guess ebay) is do NOT tell the seller what you have...ask what the part/item is off of.
That way he has no info to base a lie on.
and You the buyer need to be good about what parts fit what bike
if you can demonstrate a mistruth or mistake on his part, you can dispute it...you'll not get the shipping back, but you may get the bid.
DOCUMENT the return shipping and pack it up really, really good.

I am a seller on ebay, and believe me, the buyers can pretty much send anything back, without the sellers having much say in it. In your case, you can definitely return them, and ebay will probably make the seller pay the return shipping, even if he disagrees (ebay has the right to take it out of his paypal account if they side with you). A good seller will make things right for you, or if not, ebay will!
