Signed On the Dotted Line
In the middle of January on a cold and rainy Tuesday night I signed on the dotted line for my new Road King. The dealer will store it for free until spring. (Like I don't have enough incentive to hope for an early spring living in Ohio.)

I can relate. I was raised in Lubbock, used to ride near the canyons on the way to Amarillo. While I was in school for a while my only transportation was a bike. Semi-arid is great for riding, dry and little windchill, all year round.
Ohio's OK, been here for 40 years. Winter is a pain but there are four seperate distinct seasons so nothing gets boring.

This is going to be a long winter!
I've already spent a couple of grand extra and haven't turned a wheel.
Speaking of money? How does HD figure the general population can and/or will pay the prices for some of their parts. I added a tach and cruise control and almost had to refinance! But, I did it, so I guess others will too.
