Default Signed On the Dotted Line

In the middle of January on a cold and rainy Tuesday night I signed on the dotted line for my new Road King. The dealer will store it for free until spring. (Like I don't have enough incentive to hope for an early spring living in Ohio.)

Another satisfied customer!

Congratulations! Hey, it's gonna be up in the 60s tomorrow in Columbus! You oughtta be riding! (So what if there's an 80% chance of rain, and it'll probably flood the place.)

Too late for the flooding response the water was over the curbs on the way home from the dealership. If only the engine on the bike can run as often as my sump pump!

Congrats on the new RK. I never liked Ohio when I lived there but I gotta say that looking back...there's some good riding there. Enjoy!!

I can relate. I was raised in Lubbock, used to ride near the canyons on the way to Amarillo. While I was in school for a while my only transportation was a bike. Semi-arid is great for riding, dry and little windchill, all year round.

Ohio's OK, been here for 40 years. Winter is a pain but there are four seperate distinct seasons so nothing gets boring.

Where I was (Youngstown area), there wasn't anything to do but watch the seasons change.

Congrats on that RK! Here's to an early spring so you can get out there and enjoy your new ride!

This is going to be a long winter!

I've already spent a couple of grand extra and haven't turned a wheel.

Speaking of money? How does HD figure the general population can and/or will pay the prices for some of their parts. I added a tach and cruise control and almost had to refinance! But, I did it, so I guess others will too.
