What I've learned from this board is that there are plenty of people who put on <2K per year, so 30K would be considered "high mileage".

 

For me I guess it's to Show that you don't have to be on a Goldwing to get 100K ...I wish I had a dollar for every time someone said Oh wow 30K it's time to rebuild that motor...including some Harley riders....Nothing special for me to have 30k...not a magic number...just to have folks to chime in and show/Prove...Harleys will Run and Run well even with higher Mileage ...It's like anything ...you take care of it ...it will take care of you

 

Never had a harley that hasn't blew up (waiting for current one, 40K)? Must be how I ride???

 

62k on my 09 Road King when I traded it in and 27k on my 11 Limited; Harley makes a fine machine IMHO.

Nice............I put another couple 100 miles on today.....

 

I turned 28,500 on my 07 SG. My problem is with two bikes I try to divide my riding evenly between them but the Softail always seems to win out a bit.

 

I'll break 30k tomorrow on the way to work on my 12 Ultra. Good times.

 

No problem there, it just got a new 88 HD crate motor (and 6 speed) less than 10k ago. Amazing how many folks think it is faster than their 96-103s????
