Default 2014 SG rattle can and plasti-dip black out

Decided to murder out my glide a couple months ago...the only parts currently powder coated are my fork lowers and fork covers. I also got my heat shields and VH twin slash slip-ons professionally ceramic coated. Everything else is either plasti-dip or VHT wrinkle black. Took about three days to do. Here's the final outcome...

And heres what my bike looks like today with 12" yaffe bars, re-upholstered seat, and windsplitter windshield

Currently have a set of TopShop stretched bags and fender in storage...waiting on side covers, CVO lights, wiring harness, and LED licence plate to come in before I mock-up the rear end. Then It'll be off to get the neck cut and raked for a 26". Will post pics in a couple of months after everything is done.

Must be awesome living in paradise. I was in Hawaii once for a week in 2002, courtesy of the Navy to testify in a court martial (ended up not having to testify!) and it was without equal the best and most relaxed time I ever had in my life. If I could have figured out how to do it I would never have left. Beautiful state/island you are living on.

Looking forward to how your rake comes out. When done post specs, how you did it, how much rake, how much cost, etc. I would like to do this for my 14 SGS as well. So far bike looks great.

Default Blackout

Looks good! Black in all the right places! Just don't understand why people spend 25000 on a bike then hit it with spray paint! I'm all for doing stuff on the cheap, but paint just doesn't hold up!

I did the motor to see how it holds up...I sanded, shot self-etch primer, then the VHT. My thought process it that I can always powdercoat later if the paint dont hold up. Saved me money for more important stuff on the bike...and all the plasti dip stuff will get PC'd when I start the tear down of my rear end and eventually my front end.
