Default 13 Roadking update

Hey everyone, I posted a question about fairings for RK's a few months ago. And after researching them I decided to go with Reckless. I had them also paint the front for me. Well it came in the other day, and it was painted on both sides which was a plus. After hooking it up, I noticed that it was only picking up one radio station, so I removed the front and found that the antenna wire was zip tied to the radio bracket. I cut the zip tie and immediately started get more channels. So I changed the way the wires sat and everything is good now. I also have 5 inch smoked windscreen on the way.

I was also having a problem with girls getting on and off the bike leaving scuff marks on my saddle bag lids from their heels. So to fix the problem, I added the lid covers.

Looks terrific, I bet it sounds great too.

Because advise is free, and internet anonymity being what it is, I'd suggest you remove the reflectors on the front forks and get some chrome for those passenger floorboards.

Or get a clothes pin and a baseball card for the spokes. Looks great!

Yeah I'm really happy with it. It does sound great also. I think I have a Babe Ruth rookie card I can use on the spokes

Thanks for posting. One minute I want one on my Road King, and the next minute I don't. Great picture posts are very helpful. It looks fantastic, by the way.

That Reckless fairing looks great but candy orange is a sharp color to start with...I was thinking about a midnight pearl one...I wanted a Dragonfly fairing but after all the bad PR I hear I am afraid they will take my money and it will take forever to get it....yours is starting to make me lean that way....

The customer service at reckless is top notch, I called them monday to order a 5 inch smoked windscreen, it was on my door step on Wednesday. $35 bucks for a windscreen is a great price I might add. I also painted the speaker grills black.
