Call a BMW or Ferrari dealership. Just a thought. I couldn't find anything on it. Let us know what you find out. If you get it let us know how it works out. May be somthin I could use.

Its made by 3M and its called Stone Guard. Window tint shops can install it for you. Its not that expensive really.

You can use this stuff: Carpet Mask available at places like Camping Worldhttp://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...2&src=SRQB . Apply several layers if needed to protect the paint. I use it on my bike when it has to ride on the trailer.

I have seen this protective film at some of the 'high-end' car parts stores...i.e not auto zone or pep boys but like car quest, napa, etc. You can get this film by the foot and cut it however you desire. If i remember you cna get it in different widths, sush as 6in, 12, in, 24 in wide on a roll about 50ft long for 25$ or so.

It's 3M, we used to put it on the front of VW NewBeetles when they were hot. Permashield was the trade name for it. By now, Ziebart stores should have it. Many fine scratches on it after 2 years on the car I had, novus polish took care of them. Better than the Paintstick twice a year!
