Default Torx Sizes

Just wondering what the majority of the Torx bit sizes are on my 06 RG. I am planning to buy what is needed or most of what I'd need to add to my tool collection in the next week or so.

Thanks

Don't bother - when I went, they didn't have a full set, and the partial ones they have don't have all the sizes. Ended up goin' to an old auto parts store to git what ah wanted.

The sears set is missing the t27 , I would recommend a quality snap-on set , a bit pricey but quality tools. You get what you pay for in tools , stay away from "made in japan" junk.

Harbor freight had a set with both t-25 and t-27. Less than 20 bucks. Nice thing was it also has the hole in the middle for the security thingy put on my deck rails at the house. I need to remove to lay new outdoor carpet and paint the rails. Nice thatI didn't have to buy another set, or break off the spike in the middle of the bolts. Worked great whenI switched out the timing cover and the derby cover. Also used them to loosen up the switch covers to add the new hand grips. Works well, and was cheap...No stripped screws yet.

Papa, do yerself a favor an' git a set w/o the security screw feature. Ah've replaced FOUR of 'em so far workin' on mah UC - the torgue values on removal seem ta be in excess of their strength, an' they snap. They're Craftsman, so they wuz replaced free - but still a PITA. Ended up buyin' a full setof 'em (there's like 15 or so) at an old-time auto parts ah've done business with fer years.

Don't think ah'd go that route, Troy - many of the screws require torque values to ensure proper fitment!
