I went through something similar a couple of years ago. It cost about a grand by the time you get it painted and stuff. What about the cager paying for it?

It will probably run about a grand as the others have stated. Did the guy run or something? Call his insurance yesterday if he gave info....Kill him if he didn't have any.

Question I have is , who bailed you out of jail? Accidents happen, but when it comes to my rk custom, sorry isn't enough! What about pain and suffering? This would cost the guy if it were up to me.

On a side note, I was coming out of Costco the other day and noticed a scrape down the side of my truck. As I was about to get pissy,a guy hopped out of his truck next to mine and told me he hit me parking his lifted monster. He said he had waited 30 minutes for me to tell me and give his insurance info. Said he wanted his young daughter (who was in the truck), to know that is was only right to tell me. My truck is paid for and a 01. I told the guy that because he made the effort to make it right, that was good enough for me. Didn't even bother for his info... The wife was mad, but hey, it's MY truck. A good deed shouldn't be grounds for punishment...but then again this wasn't my bike.lol

Thanks Gramps, hope that both of my girls , that were with me, learned the lesson as well. As someone on this forum has in their sig pic, 'don't worry about what kids say, worry about what they see', or something like that. Good advice.!
