I had the mustang backrest and mount and used it for the saddleman seat I have for sale and it worked great. You will not have to do anything to modify it, The seat has the slot for the backrest and the HD one will work.

Yep the Mustang and HD are almost in the identical spot..My HD braket and backrest have been used with no issues with 2 Mustang seats over the years... this looks like a seat I might try, alas my bike is a 07.

I am asking $400.00 shipped to the lower 48 or if you are in the Phoenix Az. area we can meet. The seat cost $561.00 plus shipping new.
