Question Reverse not working...

Just got a new to me 2015 Tri Glide with only 398 miles on it. Got it for a steal of a price on e-bay from a guy with major health issues right after he bought it.

However, I just discovered that reverse doesn't work. The breaker isn't tripped and it won't trip manually. Before I head to a dealer 3 hours away for warranty work, is there something simple I can check or do? Thanks.

Since you are new to the trike make sure you are not holding the brake that will disengage reverse. Also are you pushing the button with the R are on it before you do the arrow button. No switch under the seat they changed that i think in 2011. Yours as you probably know is behind the side cover. If you are doing all of this right you will need to take it to the dealer. Good Luck and happy riding. sprinkman

They changed the waybitvworks in Rushmores...from my '12. But, from my recent rental of a '14... Try this.

1) make sure the breaker is not tripped
2) put it in neutral
3 hold down thecreversecswitch until the "r" light comes on.
4) release the reverse switch
5) with brakes off...push the reverse switch
6) make manual beeping sound...

Thanks for the replies even the funny one. Looks like a dealer trip is in order but think I will do without for 600 miles and combines with the 1k service.
