From another current thread I saw some comments concerning my immediate situation.
It sounds like I am in a spot. I have my set of Drago's tru duals(Rush) & 4" B.Louie's. from my RKC. I am ready to put them on my 2014 TG with SE air cleaner and PV AT.
I did want flater/oval mufflers for looks and less scraping. I also have a DK lift to put on.
If these are going to be extremely bad on the bottom end, I do have a possible out. My black heat shields and mufflers were just replaced under warranty and are new/unused and the ceramic coated header is fine, all can be resold now. I do see a cam in the near future.
Any comments?
In my opinion you are going to loose bottom end power with the duals. On my 2012 the first thing I did was add Rush True Duals and a set of their mufflers along with the SE air cleaner, Woods 555 cams and had it dyno tuned. Ran great on the top end, but since I also pull a trailer I was slipping the clutch and everything else to take off and when we went out west when you saw a mountain coming you had to start downshifting before you got to it.
I changed that setup to the Fulsac CX header a set of SE Fatshotz mufflers, SE Heavy Breather air cleaner and another trip on the dyno and a much better experience taking off and pulling.
My 2015 is running the Fullsac Sportpipe with SE Fatshotz a S&S air cleaner and the new TTS-100 cams and it is tuned with a TTS tuner and no dyno trips. Went west in June pulling the trailer and only dropped below 5th once and a Elk in the road caused that.
