Just put on a SE heavy breather on my 07 SG. I have an old set of SE I muffs on and really don't like the "quiet". Had the dealer do a remap for the new air cleaner. I am not planning on putting new headers on but want more "crack" out of the mufflers. My rides are 300 to 400 miles max on a good day. What slip on mufflers do you recommend. Do I need a fuel mgt. system? If not don't want to spend the bucks.
I've added the Rhineharts to my EG. At first they were pretty quiet compared to the SE touring pipes I had on. But after a few hundred miles I noticed they got louder. Very happy with them. Bike has the SE stage I air cleaner, Rhinehart slip ons and a Power Commander USBIII, followed up with a Dyno to dial it all in. Very happy.
They took it into the shop plugged it into their computer and did something to the bikes computer??? Sorry. I dont know a lot about it other than it cost about 50 bucks.

If you would like a little more then the SE... The Rush might be what you're looking for as you can pick your sound levels by the size of the baffles...
FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.... I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get one... There are many to pick from - If you'll be happy with the basic stage 1 then I would consider the V&H FuelPak it's a great system for the $$$ - From there a PCIII but to truely dial it in for peak performance you should have a dyno done and that's more $$$ - Thunder Max with Auto Tune would be the grand daddy of them all as it will Auto Adjust to your system...
Thanks SoCal_Pappy but I am looking for slip-ons only. Bike is brand new with less than 300 miles. Don't want to do a fuel management system or full pipes just yet.
Straight out of the box and onto the bike, which slip-ons have the highest sound increase?
