Best lift point on 17' Tri-Glide
I finally got the wife's permission to install a set of Street Cannon Slip-on's.
My question is where is the best lift point with a jack in order to safely lift with out interfering with the install?
I do have a standard bike lift, but don't think it will work on a trike.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I didn't need to lift mine when installing the Street Cannons. I just got comfortable on the floor and went to work lol. Yes it will be easier if you lift the trike a little and I didn't answer your lift question, but I just wanted to let you know it's not needed. The hardest part is those four bolts that secure the pipes to the frame. Not much room there. The clamps were easy.

If you have access to a set of car ramps. get them. Align the ramps with the back tires and drive up the ramps SLOWLY. Put a chock on the front tire or put a strap around the front brake lever to hold the motorcycle in place. Good amount of clearance under the rear of the machine.

I use auto ramps for the rear (good height). They are on an area rug under the Tri . I just lay down on the rug & relax while I do the bolts. The rug under the ramps will keep them from sliding around while getting on & off the ramps.
