Default Wireless Headset Module and 2018 Tri Glide

This may not be quite the right Forum but my question might be for 2018 Tri Glide Owners. The HD catalog says the Wireless Headset Interface Module Harness is required for 14-17 models....it doesn't say for 14 thru 18 models......Does that appear to be a catalog issue or does my 2018 NOT require the Wireless Headset Interface Module????

Anyone with an 18 Tri Glide Have this answer.

so does this mean that if you have a 2018, you can just pick up the sena head units? Sorry all the Harley crap you need to make this work was a non-listen for me I just looked at going Sena to Sena

You will still need the WHIM - wireless headset interface module to integrate into the H-D infotainment system. Prior to the 18s you needed the harness in order to hook up the WHIM. It is only the harness that is now provided in the 18s and up wiring. And you'll need the H-D branded Sena headsets if you want stereo. The 'plain' Sena headsets will work but only in mono - no stereo.

I'm about to bite the bullet and order the WHIM.... and install it my self on my 18 Tri-Glide .....just one more question.....Is it for sure that the SENA 20S EVO non Harley Branded is only in Mono not Stereo.....I can't imagine the the H.D. version being any different than the direct from Sena 20S Evo.....But!?!??!?!

Yes, for sure. Only mono with the non branded 20S EVO. Must have the Harley branded version to get stereo. Here is an excellent video about it:

yep the 20 and the 30's only support mono. the only way to get stereo is with the HD Headsets or the new Sena HD 1/2 Helmet

I have an '18 Tri-Glide and I also have a '13 CVO Ultra that has the XM Receiver (and it's active) but I doubt that I'll have it installed on the Tri-Glide.

With my helmet mounted (stereo) speakers and my cell phone (music) I think that's all I'll want or need.
I am disappointed that I won't have a CB on my trike but I rarely ride with anyone else that has it anyway.

When I'm on my Harley (s) I want to hear either music OR y pipes, NOT a darn telephone call or text message!
I can check all of that when I make my "pit stops" or at the end of the day.

JMO.
