I went with MotorTrike since it has an engine cut off if you have the bike in a forward gear and reverse at the same time. I also kept the electrical reverse. The electrical reverse is easy to use, where as the mechanical reverse requires more steps. Both has it places and situation.

 

Baker also has a reverse that goes in the transmission. Reverse is operated with the stock shift lever and is locked out by a toggle switch to unlock the reverse. No hand shift lever at all. At least that is what I have read on the write-ups. The shift pattern is R, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th , 6th.

It is a bit spendy, ($2195.00) and self install, but it is Baker, and well built as always, and all internal to the transmission except for the switch .

 

have you got a picture and how does it work.for me i have to buy a later trans to fit the mechanical one.thank you
