Default HD Triglilde LED Tail Tights

I was thinking go of going to the LED tail lights with the chrome housing ... so I go to the HD web site ... do the shop for my bike thing ... you get two for $349.95 pt# 67800133 ... or 1 for $149.95 pt# 68116-08 ... what am I missing? Does anyone actually order them as a Pair? Are they matched? They both have the same installation Instructions ... I just know I'm missing something. When I put this on my ultra it was just plug and play ... is there something I don't know about the tg's tail lights ... other than there are two of them? The fitment table says they both fit the tg, although I can't imagine anyone putting only one on ... or paying an extra $50.05 just to get two in one package ... I know I'm missing something ... HELP

The pair is for Tri Glide only. The single, even though they list it as a fit for the Tri Glide, has a clear opening in the bottom for lighting up the license plate. At least that is how I read it. I have the 67800133 pair on my 2011. Bought them at Surdyke HD at 20% off. Very nice lights and easy install.

Ah ... See I knew there was something I was missing ... Didn't even think about the clear place for the license plate

Can you still see them from the sides? My TG's tail ought a can be seen from a long way away from the side ... With the LED's it seems there is less side illumination

I was riding behind my buddy's TG, he has the LED's and they were very bright when you are direct behind them, but on turns or on an angle they are not the same, very dim.

I fitted a couple of BAL's which are easy to fit, just Don't look at them too long as they sure are bright!

Put two of the BAL1Rs on my TriGlide back in 2011. Wouldn't be without them on the highway. At night depending upon settings you will light up the neighborhood! EXTREMELY visible from all sides and back during the day. Very common to have cars stop a little further back from me when at a traffic light.

BAL, the only way to go, there are about 15-16 different settings you can do with a magnet supplied with them.
all kinds of patterns to chose. yes there BRIGHT and worth the money if you want to be seen. like someone said at nite they will get attention.
