If you want all that on one, why not just go with the Ultra? I just don't understand someone buying a bike and then trying to make it something they could have just bought in the first place.

don't want a tour pak or the water cooling. want to make my own streetglide three wheeler. like the idea of just popping the fairing off when ever i like too!

Sound reasoning to me! Lets see some pics when you do, I think it would look cool.

The mounting system will depend on what flavor it is built from, touring, Dyna, etc...
Then you may find something that would work.
Some can use windshield mounts; some use the forks. It's done by the frame, fork assembly.

Biggest reason for doing it: personalizing it.

I know I'm getting old and senile, but didn't someone one here put a faring and lowers on a freewheeler? I know it was lowers but I thought they did the faring too?

I can't find it now but the post had pics

Keystone on Trike Talk forum has pics of his with lowers and other mods. Dead Center Cycle has pics of one with one of their fairings (bolt on) looks good.

Don't worry about the neah sayers, if you want to do it - do it!!

I'm waiting for one (vivid black Freewheeler) to come in at my local dealer and then I'm trading in my current trike, I'm also thinking about adding a fairing.

Default do it!!!!

A custom Batwing on a freewheeler would be great even nicer if it was easily removed. I take my lowers off in the summer (09) nice to be able to have it both ways. just sayin~ ride safely fearless

I would think a nice big Road King-style windscreen would be preferable. Put a set of triple shield-bags and a leather cupholder on it, mount your phone/gps on the handlebars with a CANZ speaker in one of the shield-bags, and you're good to go

i've been looking at reckless and woody's fairing and they do look good and strong. i wish i could get ahold of woody's, but their web page will not let you leave a message. black freewheeler with batwing fairing ,crash bar, rider back rest and luggage rack on back. may even put a radio in the fairing. trying to locate phone nunbers for these places now.
