Default Bright *** Lights Do their Job

Yesterday heading home, I ran into a heavy downpour and pulled over under a bridge and turned on the 4 ways waiting out a short rain storm.

I noticed that while sitting on the side of the road that all cars approaching from behind me (4 lane section of road), where slowing down. I came to believe they thought it was some sort of emergency vehicle.

I really like having these lights installed and feel much safer. Friends who have followed me have said that even in bright sunlight they can be seen.

If you haven't checked them out they are well worth the money.

Here is the link to their website:

For the TriGlide you will want the BAL - 1R.

FYI, no other lights (that I'm aware of) offer the different settings that these do.

Here's some pics in my Garage of Mine.... Running normal and brake. Note that this is the medium setting.

Postal Trucker and I ride a lot with the Ohio PGR and thus have followed each other quite often. I can tell you these are BRIGHT; even in the daytime.

Yes, they are pricey but was isn't for a HD.

BAL - Running on Medium

BAL - Brake on Medium

I think that was the very first mod I thru on mine. Well worth it. They also have a twelve LED verison of it. I felt the original was just fine.

I agree the original version is well worth the money. Also they are only about $50 more than the HD version (which don't have the flashing option).
