Default Can't charge battery

Have a 14 TriGlide and was testing something the other day and created a spark which I new then there would be problems And there is. Now I can't charge my battery from the little charging pigtail on the left side. I use a battery tender so I had another and tried it still nothing. Pulled the fuse cover and found a 5 amp fuses burnt that says batt and replaced it but still nothing so tried to follow the pigtail to see if there is another fuse somewhere but it goes into a loom and that's it no following from there. So question is does anyone know if there might be another fuse somewhere or what another problem may be ? Thanks in advance

Do you have a multimeter?

Check for continuity on the charging pigtail back to the battery, OHMs.

Alternately you can check voltage on either side of the pigtail connector, volts DC

That's where I would start to rule out the charging pigtail.

I think the factory installed pigtail is fused by a 20 amp P&A fuse.

14GuineaPig is correct the 20 amp fuse for P&A is also used for the battery tender pigtail.

Guess I should have checked them all...... you all are correct it was the 20amp. Didn't know what PA was so didn't think it had anything to do with it. Another lesson learned.... Thanks Eveyone

Parts and Accessories. Harley uses that abbreviation a lot. Took me a long time to figure it out, too.
