I have read that some members have put Goodyear Comfort tread tires on their trikes. I am nowhere near the point of replacing the rear tires yet but those tires sound promising. It is said that the ride is improved.

I've run the stock dunlops on my Trikes. Also have run the Goodyear Comfortreds. They are an improvement. They have a little more sidewall flex.

On my '19 I currently still have the stock dunlops and will probably keep running them for quite a bit more. But when it comes time to replace, I will go with the Comfortreds. btw, the stock dunlops will ride better with 21-22 psi in them instead of the 26 psi.

The reason I ask about Continental Tires is because I work in a Continental factory. So I get a nice discount on Continental and General tires ..
I can get Top of of the line tires for a lot less than the Dunlop or Goodyear tires. And out of a factory full of over 3000 employees I'm the only one riding a trike lol

Depends upon the Continental. But, they’d be a step up from the OEM duncraps.

Try a pair and report back. As light as trikes are, it's kind of hard to believe there will be a substantial performance difference.

Well, you could be a test platform for your company's tires. It might increase sales if you use the tires and give a favorable report.

Agree. My trike came with some no name Korean tires (they were brand new....). I seem to get acceptable performance from them. I think they're even m&s rated too. Not that I plan to test that rating out- ha ha ho ho.

I contacted the company with the ideal of promoting Continental Tire use on Trikes .
the responded with Trikes use a different Tire than car tires and that the motorcycle tire division is not interested in developing a trike tire because of the cost of R and D testing and such
And that they did not think the PLT division would have any interest because of the small volume of tires it would involve

So now it has given me a new question. What is the difference between a Trike Tire and a car tire ?
Maybe I should start a thread on that question ..
