Default Spyder transition

I am looking forward to "trading up" from my current 2015 CAN AM Spyder RTS SM6 trike to
a Tri Glide Ultra. I am curious if anyone else has previously made this move. I know everyone talks
about the transition time of going from 2 wheels to the Tri Glide but I am thinking that the only
difference I will feel will be 2 in front being moved to 2 in back. Width is about the same. Three
wheel track for avoiding obstacles is the same. 6 gallon gas tank is the same. Suspect the
MPG will be close to the same(1330cc current). What else am I not thinking of besides the extra
smiles for getting back into a HD saddle? I previously went from Vulcan to Victory to Road King to
Spyder....

Thanks in advance for any feedback. I do know that whatever I do I have to get in a demo ASAP to
fill in some blanks.

I went from a RTL 2015 to a 2019 Triglide. There are a lot of differences in the two. The Spyder is a gentler ride, while the Triglide is more visceral.. To me the Harley is much closer to riding a two wheeler. The lack of an independent rear suspension makes it a rougher ride, but I still prefer it. Since the Triglide is air cooled (except for the heads) it gives off a lot of heat as well. I much prefer the handling and brakes on my Triglide the Spyder. Personally I will never go back. Good luck in your adventure!
