A question about the license plate relocation. My state requires the license plate to be illuminated, especially when riding at night. How does your local law enforcement say about lighting?
Hanging the plate below the one tail light saves problems.

 

Custom dynamics make a license frame that has LED lights in the frame. It also has red LED lights that can be wired to act as a third brake light. Can't see it to well in the photos, but it works real good.

 

 

I finished putting on the last of the winters powder coating on. I still have to paint the fender (satin black), but I have to wait for the weather to warm, since my garage is unheated. I had the majority of the powder done in satin black, with some gloss and wrinkle mixed in to break the black up a bit. The local weather guesser says 70s on this coming Tuesday through Friday, so I should have things buttoned up for this weekend.

 

And before you all go filling up this thread with your comments; I just noticed that YES the luggage rack is backwards. I'll change it around on Monday and blame it on the Easter Bunny.

Got it off of ebay for $40.00 and then had it powder coated. Not sure what brand.
But it bothered me so that I have already turned it around right.

 

Finished the paint and powdercoat for this year and did the final assembly. Then went for a 40 mile ride so I could retorque the lug nuts. I am pleased with the outcome.

 

How is your license plate lighted?
