Default What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today

Don't know why there isn't a sticky for this; so ...
Yesterday I finished de-badging my Freewheeler. I'm not a fan of the badges that stick out and collect the residue from polish and wax; and then take an hour with the Q-tips to remove. I also installed the new windshield from Clearview Shields, what a difference it made in the overall comfort to ride. No more bugs to the forehead, no more death grip on the handle bars to keep from being blown off the trike, and no more being strangled from the helmet strap. I can really tell that the recurve and 2.5" over stock width are doing their job. Pics to follow later today. Now to do something about the exhaust note. Hmmmm

Nice! I also have the Clearview shield and echo your review. The seat (Mustang?) looks great!

The seat (Mustang?)
Yes, Super Touring Deluxe. Very comfortable, but pricy at $700. But what price do you put on your comfort? My rule is when it comes to MY comfort it costs what it costs.

When I added the heel shifter arm to my Freewheeler, I found that the new position of the toe shifter was annoying. I found this "Harley shift peg extender" on ebay and it resolved the issue.

I used to be like that. Now it takes a half hour to wash the whole bike. Wax once a year.

I have been looking for something like that. Do you have a link?

Relocated my license plate to the center of the trunk, to include eliminating the plate bracket from the left tail light mount and lense w/window. Also installed "hiem style" rod ends to the shifter rod.

Picked up the first round of pieces from the powder coater and dropped off the second round, Tomorrow I'll start the re-assembly process and maybe hang a few back on the bike. I'll wait until all the pieces are back and hung before taking pics and then posting them. But so far I'm liking the results.
