Default M8 oil filter ???????

Just looking for confirmation please on the correct filter for 2019 Tri Glide w/ M8 engine.

Is the Fram, PH6022 the correct aftermarket filter for a M8 ?
I've looked all over the web, and this is the filter part # I'm coming up with............
Ironically, it's the same filter that is recommended for my 95 Dyna.
Don't want to pay dealer price for a run of the mill filter just because it has HD stamped on the box.
Forgive my ignorance on this matter.
I'll Probably buy a WIX or NAPA brand .
Just looking for a correct part # to cross reference.
Thanx folks.👍

Wix part #57148 for a black filter.
#57348 for a chrome one.

It should also be noted that HD change the Oil Filter a few years back for the M8 engines. With that said, paying an extra few $ for the HD filter seems more than acceptable to prevent any issues.

Only difference is that M8 is a little longer. You can use either one.

One would assume that there is a reason why they (HD) made the M8 filter longer...

Probably because it will fit. The longer filters do not fit on the Twin Cams, because of the crank sensor interference. The updated filter instructions from the MoCo,even states that it wont affect warranty! .

The M8 filter is longer and measure 100mm, to date I have found no company that makes a specific HD Filter that matches the Harley one, except for one company that makes then and they are a direct replacement, should I add at half the price of a HD one !

Available in Glossy Black (HF171BRC) and Chrome (HF171CRC) Finish
