Default Freewheeler- can all touring seats fit?

Getting mixed responses, can a touring seat, for example an Original fitment Ultra seat, fit a Freewheeler or RG3?

Cheers.

Good question! I seem to recall that touring seats will work but there will be visible gaps between the seat and body. I look forward to reading comments from others and hopefully seeing some pics!

During my search I found information indicating that most touring seats will fit a Freewheeler but there are exceptions.
One exception for example is the Hammock seat; its base is too wide for the Freewheeler.

Fortunately my local dealer is only about 3 or 4 miles from my house and they have a selection of demo seats so I tried all that were available for touring bikes and those listed for the Freewheeler.
I seem to recall, only the Hammock seat would not fit.

I ended up going with a Mustang seat that I bought used that was on a 2021 Road Glide.
Below is the link to my related thread that has some details and pictures of the Mustang seat that I purchased.
