Default triglide to freewheeer

Anyone go from the Triglide back to to the Freewheeler (with and without the fairing). What were your reasons for the switch and where you happy with the change. Comments and experience welcome.

I had 2 Tri Glides before buying a FW. The wife decided not to ride anymore. I didn't like the steering being as hard as it was. I demoed the FW and was sold on it. I think the steering is easier on the shoulders and upper torso for an old guy. I didn't need all the storage space for just me. Overall it just kind of spoke to me. I have owned 2 of them now and am pretty happy with them.

I went the other way (FW to Tri-glide), but I will go back to the FW when I get to a point where I am no longer able to do the long haul cross country rides. I feel (IMHO) that the FW was great for weekends and short trips (250 miles). But with less storage space, it was hard for me to get all the gear and stuff, plus clothes, for a long (14-21 day) ride. Now, don't take me wrong, I loved the FW and it was a real blast to ride; I just needed more space for right now.
