I have had the lift bracket on now for about 2000 miles. Been running 35lbs in the rear shocks and it rode pretty good there two up. The other day we took a 200 mile trip. I lowered the shocks down to 28lbs and took my hand air pump with us incase we started to bottom out. Never bottomed out and the ride was the best its ever been.

From what I have read, your upsides are:

1. no more scraping your muffler tips coming out of gas stations, driveways, etc.

2. can lower the air pressure required in your shock for smoother ride - especially 2-up

3. raises the taillights for more visibility from behind

4. more level appearance

Downside:

1. none noted.

So they appear to increase safety, comfort, and performance while arguably improving your "curb appeal". Sounds like a good deal to me for the money.

I'd like to add.....a bit easier to remove rear wheels.

It is a very easy mod if you follow the installation instructions. I haven't noticed any significant changes in handling. It does seem to bite a bit better in a tight curve at the same speed. For me the biggest advantage from the list above is not having to run the shock air pressure full blast anymore.

Highway speed handling is a little quicker but very safe.My wife and I no longer worry about scraping and low speed handling is much better.

Had the shock lifts and tour-pac lifts installed today.

Wow - it looks like a completely different trike. I'll bet Harley just licenses Dennis Swan's ideas within the next to years for the factory TriGlide.

If not, they should. It now looks like it's supposed to look.
