Default New Trike

Just about done, just waiting for a labor estimate to install a few parts on the new trike. I'm holding out for free install as part of the deal, the sales manager is wanting half. Also included is a free 1,000 service.

Took it out for a test drive this afternoon, boy what a different feeling putting around town. Super smooth on the highway, seems like it had decent power. I was surprised that it wasn't running hotter than it was, not too bad. It was only mid 70s. It's got me rethinking Jamie's Jackpot headers and tuner.

Took the wife for a quick spin. She liked it but felt it wasn't as smooth as the Ultra. I told her instead of 1 chance to hit a bump we now have 3 chances. Kind of hard to avoid everything it my lane.

Just need lots of practice and patience. Guess the rear brake will take some getting used to.

Didn't know black could be so shiny. I wonder who will be the first to drag a boot heel across it.

One of the parts I got was the black luggage rack. I think it will look great on the black trike. Should be in the driveway real soon.

Congrats on your new ride, she looks great!
You might want to give some serious thoughts to adding the rear bumper to protect all that fiberglass back there. I did, & it saved me when I gently backed into a sidewalk at a motel.

Also, when you are turning, push down with your outside foot, it will keep you centered in your seat.

Congrats on the new trike. You'll love it after you've ridden it awhile. I'm on my second one since 09 and there's nothing more comfortable than making a thousand mile trip or so on three wheels (instead of two). I just got back from bike week, where I put 2000 miles on the trike (there and back) and I loved every minute of it.
