I just happen to be in the middle of putting the 575's on mine. I got the stock bars off yesterday and started pulling the wires through the 575's. The left side was not bad but the right side was a real B*?/-H. Left side took about 10 minutes but the right side wires since you have two sets to feed through took me about 1 & a half hours. They kept hanging up on the fist bend of the bars. I decided to take a break and have a Dr Pepper then came back and tried again. They pulled right in after the break so if you get frustrated just have a Dr Pepper and try again. That worked for me. I stopped for the day after that and hope to get the 575's mounted sometime today. Then I will see if I can reroute the clutch cable to get enough slack to work without changing it. I have been told that you can. We will see.

Post from a year ago when I did it....

The crossbones stock clutch cable is a few inches longer than the TG cable and runs about 35 bucks. Whole lot cheaper than aftermarket cables.

Looking forward to the results and hopefully some pics! No problems with the reverse switch mounting on the bars? I couldn't tell if there is enough room for the 1. 1/4 bars due to the fact the switch comes further over.

Switch was fine. Plenty of wire on the harness in the fairing.

You will need long arms using the 575 bars. 2" higher but not closer. They are 2" further out to the sides.

Got the bar's mounted last night. I tried rerouting the clutch cable like I was told but it did not work. It was still about 1 1/2" to short. I ordered a new clutch cable from surdyke.com, HD PN# 38788-06C . Now I will wait for it to arrive so I can continue.

The WO577 bragger Apes are what I'm putting on mine. I didn't like the looks at first but they make a ton of difference in the comfort of the bike! I'm 6' tall @ 250 lbs and the 40 degree angle of the bars were perfect. They also improve the view in the rear view mirrors. These bars are very popular here in Ms

Also take a look at the Khromeworks bars. If you are looking for almost any shape and size bar, they have it at an unbelievable price !!
To get the bars closer to you look at the 2+sweepers, or 2+2 sweepers.
Go here: http://www.khromewerks.com/handlebars.htm

Go all the way down to the bottom of the page for a measurement chart !

Ride Safe
Merry Christmas
