Default Seat removal

What's the easiest way to remove the seat on 2013 TriGlide?

Thanks for the help.

I open the tour-pak and get the little flap of a passenger back rest flipped up and out of the way and then use a real long philips screw driver.

Being a woman, I have to get up in the seat to see down to where the screw is located, then use my fingers to hold it while I use a long phillips screw driver. That way I don't drop the screw, which has happened several times. Then I pull back on the seat while raising the tail end to lift the seat out if the front holder.

I took the Phillips screw out and replaced it with a thumb screw. No more need for a screw driver.

I just lift the flap and hold up with my head and use philips screw driver bit of a PIA but works. On my 2012 that flap is mounted on the bottom part of tour pack.

And while you are holding the flap up with your head,,,, don't push on the tour pac lid tether cable ! SMARTS when the lid hits ya on top of the head !!
If you are like me you could damage the lid !

I made a replacement screw setup by using a long screw 2 nuts and a knurled handle on the end. See thread "Screwy Seat Screw" posted 01-01-2011. I posted some pic's of my mod.
