Default Heat Shields

Has anyone replaced the factory mid frame heat deflectors with Kuryakan ones? They are shaped differently and seem to cover more. Just wondering if they work better than the stock ones.

We sell a lot of our crotch coolers to trike owners.. They work are easy to install, and have a larger footprint. Give us a call if we can answer any questions that you may have..

I can attest to the quality and workmanship of the Crotch Cooler. Great and inexpensive way to mitigate the heat off the rear cylinder. And they look great also.

To use the crotch cooler do you need to take the original heat shield off the bike?

No, but they look and work better without the stock deflectors on there.
