Default Vrod owners a ? for you.......

I have a RK that I love, I also have a Kawasaki ZRX1200. These are both great bikes. I am thinking in the near future of selling the Kawi and finding a clean vrod on craigslist. So my ? is to you, mid controls which would be more like my Kawi or forward? What is more comfy? I would guess the mid controls would give you more of a controlled feel when riding/ cornering fast? Hopefully I can get some feedback of what to watch for. I am 6' if that makes any diffedrence.

Thanks, Keith

Keith,
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I'm 6'2". I ride an 06 VRSCD daily. Mid-controls and highway pegs are stock on the D (not the DX, it has forward controls). You might want to check out a VRSCR Street Rod. It's the other mid-control V-rod. It's a little taller than the rest, more lean angle and less rake. It lacks the Night Rod's highway pegs. I've ridden most of the V-rod versions, short of the X and the Destroyer. I don't care for forward controls. Ride a couple and pick the one you like.
