Default which vrod for a tall guy

Are there any tall guys out there that are happy with the night rod.I'm 6'2" and considering a night rod.I sat on the street rod and I was absolutely too tall for it.The mid controls on the night rod did feel a little cramped.Maybe the original vrod is the best for a tall guy,any comments

I'm around 5'11" and I really like my V-Rod with forward controls. I am not comfortable with the mid controls after a short time.

I'm 6'4" 36" inseam and fine on the original VRSCA. I do not know how the forward controls of the Night Rod (Doesn't the NR have mid and forward controls?) compare to the VRSCA V-Rod... but thought they were comparable. Much of the comfort will depend on your flexibility. I also know bikes that may not seem comfortable initially can be after a few weeks of riding as new muscles are formed or existing muscles stretched.

Night rod has forward pegs only. Controls are mid-mount.
I'm 5'9" and the Night Rod feels pretty good at mid-mount
but will probably be too cramped for you tall guys.

Plus the brake lever and shifter are too close to the pegs!

Change the stock upholstered wooden plank (seat) for something from Corbin or another seat maker, that doesnt' have quite the abrupt rise at the rear....it'll let you move around a bit more than being planted in one spot, and be more comfortable to boot. Just my .02

i am also 6,2" and have a night rod u can put the controls forward and it is much better i have added a tall seat which moves u back and up this helps too a normal vrod with forward controls would be cheaper than changing every thing but now i am planning to put my mid foot rests back on as well as the forwards
