2003 great year good luck only thing as mentioned distance with the 4 gallon tank good luck again

Yeah, it's not too bad. I've taken it on a few road trips. I did have to fill it up fairly frequently, but not as much as some other bikes that I've owned. My first bike was an older 600 cc Honda Shadow, and even though it had a smaller motor it had to be refilled even more frequently. I think I somehow managed to get better gas mileage out of my V Rod with a motor twice the size of the Honda. I guess it was 20+ years newer. That was what I was used to though, so the V Rod seemed great to me.

My Sportster peanut tank was the worst stopping for fuel non stop?My 2007 V Rod has the 5 gallon I don't go on super long runs with it but nice to have the extra gallon!Again nice bike and year good luck!

02-06 3.1 gallons / 07- later have 5 gallons
