Going out to look at a 2006 screaming eagle edition tomorrow thats for sale for a great price. The color is blue with a silver powder coated frame. I noticed that the colors for 06 didn't include blue. Were there some produced with the blue? I know the SE models had the SE tags on the heads. Thanx,Tom

 

I believe all the SE's have color matched frames and came in the following colors: '05 - orange, cherry, and blue; '06 - orange, scarlet, yellow. The '05 has a HD badge on the airbox; '06 has a Screaming Eagle. Hope this helps. The engines will have 1250 Sreaming Eagle on them.

I've seen some CL'ers list bikes as SE edition bikes. Open up the add and of course they put the SE Air Cleaner on and slip-ons.

The other one is calling their bike "rare" only "1of 250" built. Um, you just put different tins on your bike. Doesn't make it "rare" or a "collector".

Guess some people think it will make their bike sell faster or worth more. Of course, anyone with an ounce of HD knowledge will probably call them out on it if they are interested.
