Default ready to buy a road king

I am looking to buy a black or flat black road king. (now I can live with another color if its got extras and the price is right) If its got ape hangers you have my attention. I have been in the market for a few months now.

I appreciate any and all help as its hard to keep up with the market and work 80 hours a week.

I am a dead serious buyer, however not interested in any new ones for 14 grand, or any custom show bikes for 20+

you won't find a new one for 14,000. Good luck

If you mean new to me, used, this is a good link for looking for bikes.
http://www.harley-davidson.com/used_...ncedSearch.jsp

Or our own HDForums classifieds. Are you looking for used? A new Road King is upwards of $18k.

Here is a nice used one:

what I meant was a late model for 14. obviously they retail for over 20 and drop drastically the second you pull off the lot. most 2000-2006 are selling from 6500-10k.

I've been checking this forums and many others classifieds as well as craigslist (in every city within 8 hours of me) and ebay daily for several months. The bike you sent me is definitely a nice bike at a decent price but I wouldn't pay 10,5 with softbags. Ive seen some sweet custom rides go from all over the price range but a lot lower than anyone would think.

Harley your blacked out king is definitely a sweet ride, but I could never bring myself to spend 20 on a bike. Not anytime in the next few decades. Retirement sure

not terrible prices, still a little high (obviously since its from a dealer) which doesn't completely discourage me as a lot of them look the bike over.

Im still searching. Have 3 bikes im looking at currently but none of are dead nuts what Im looking for, but are great deals so I may have to deal shortly.

I sold my '04 to the 1st person who looked at it for $11k and had dozens of offers sight unseen for $10k

I had a set of apes that I would have swapped the beach bars for. Now that it's icy and snow is flying in 1/2 the country some deals should pop up

Most of my local bikes are in the 8-10 range, all the guys any higher have come down, im just looking for the right bike and willing to wait for it. Your bike for 11 seems fair especially given that front wheel. Lower mileage?

Default 2002 rk

I have a 2002 RK I may be interested in selling. It has about 37K mikes.
I am thinking in the $9K price range.

Old photos: Bike has true dual and Rush Mufflers, Sundowner RK Classic seat, luggage rack and new recurve windshield.
Tires aree in great condition. Has new head light and running lights, LED Tail light, Screaming Eagle breather. Overall a nice bike.
