Wanted: Complete CV40 setup for '91 evo 80"
Got a friend with a stock evo. For whatever reason, the jackass he bought it from had installed an S&S G. I've been asked to help tune it and refused to do so until he coughs it up for an appropriate carburetor for his setup.
I'm not looking for opinions or advice. I don't mean to be a dick, just don't need input.
What I do want is everything needed to rip the G off and slap the CV on without having to make ANY trips to the shop for ANY parts, gaskets included
That's probably a pipe dream so forget the gaskets. Def need carb, manifold, air cleaner, air cleaner bracket...and probably a choke bracket (?)
2nd choice would be a complete S&S E. I'm assuming would still need the manifold...

Got a few details to clarify, if you don't mind:
Intake P/N?
Carb P/N?
Carb been modified? Rebuilt?
If original, how many miles?
A/C part number or type?
Can you post a pic or two?
I have to cover all bases since this is for someone else. Having a third party pissed over f-ups is never fun.

Ted I apologize. Last I remembered you were gonna deal with personal issues. For some reason I didn't get the usual email notice that there was a response to this thread. Wasn't blowing you off.
Pics would be great
you can post 'em here, or email me directly at D.L.Spang at gmail dot com
Just to reiterate, I'm trying to help a friend here, so I have to run any info by him and then relay his responses...
