Long shot I know, looking for a vivid black fxdc gas tank set up for efi. Putting it on a 2008

Well, I ended up taking mine to a guy up here in the Seattle area to get it fixed. It was the best value I could get plus I know everything will fit. Apparently a 08 down efi wide glide tank is identical to a 07 up fxdc tank. I found one in Virginia but the year of the tank couldn’t be verified so I went this direction for the same price. Best of luck in your search, it’s slim pickings out there.

 

Thanks for the info. Since mine just has a small wrinkle just above the emblem, which is barely noticeable, and already primed black to match, I may just leave it instead, and save the expense.
