Hello all
Hello all
Joined a while back, but never really visited the forum much.
Thought I'd introduce myself and get a feel for the local color, so to speak.
I'm from Southern Maryland, near Washington, DC and Northern VA. I ride those areas and also visit PA and West Virginia periodically. I have been known to travel as far south as Florida and up north through Maine andto the maritime provinces of Canada.
I am looking to expand my range of riding experience to the west coast and other areas, eventually. I have evolved from a bar hopper to more of a touring enthusiast. I am currently riding a 2006 FLSTCI (Heritage Classic). I have owned several Harleys including a Pre AMF Sportyand a couple softails. I have also owned Triumph, BSA and a couple Hondas. (street bikes) and a bunch of dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. My dream scoot (and someday will have) is a '59 Panhead "74" Bobbed, flat black with moderate to strongperformance enhancements.
I have been riding (on the street) since 1976. I've had a couple of minor "low sides" and one flight over the handlebars! I'm older and wiser and much more carefull these days.
If you've made it through this far, I'll cut you some slack and end the post.

What's happening from another MD couple. We get down your way a few times a summer and if the weather prevails we will be in Solomans for the Tiki Bar opening. That's always a ring dang doo of a time.
