Default 01 sporster
I'm having a bit of trouble with my 01 sportster. After the bike gets good and warm it starts to back-fire and eventually shuts down. Then it won't start until it cools down. I changed the plugs and wires but still no help. I was told it might be the coil. Does this sound right and should I fix it myself?

Welcome aboard the Forum! Sounds like it could be a bad coil, but never had it happen on any of my H-D's.
