I just had a power commander installed along with vance and hines big radius pipes and a high flow air breather from drag specialties. Bike was also just on the Dyno. 95% of the time it runs great. But then there are moments where I will roll the trottle while down shifting and the engine will start to idle slow and die when I come to a stop. I have noticed that if I am quick enough, I can shift to neutral and it will smooth out after about 30 seconds. If it does stall before I do this. I find that when I restart. It runs fine. This seems to be a common problem based on what I read from other riders on this site. The bike is brand new with 12,000 miles. Guess im just gonna have to live with it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
haven't read very many others that having an issue like that, unless its the PC...
I read lately several members with PC's are having trouble. I know I would not live with that issue... no reason for it to happen,, either the PC is not right or something is wrong with the bike.....
If she's new, U still have the warranty,,,why don't U take her in and see what's wrong, instead of trying to guess on how fix her.
how bout take the PC out and see how she run with just the stock ECM. I've heard of some doing that to check the units out.
One reason I didn't go with a PC is its a piggy back controller..but that's just me.. PLus 3ys ago there wasn't all the unit that one can get today.
Theres lots of happy owners of them.
