New to the Forum
Just wanted to say hello. I have been riding since I was 12 (47 years) and had a HD Hummer. I currently ride a 2000 FXDS Convertible. It is a great bike for a combination of riding year round to work and taking trips. Not as comfortable as a big cruiser, but so far my trips have stayed around 1500-1800miles so I am happy. I have had couple of recent problems with my scoot and so if anyone has had an ignition switch problem with their Dyna or Sportster and wants to do away with the factory switch look for my post in the electrical forums. I hated the switch location under the seat as it was a pain in the Butt literally to put the key in with my gloves on when riding in the winter. When the switch failed I decided to go to a Key FOB switch and not use the key.
