Hi my real name is dave. i picked up a 2001 883 with 1200 conversion harley about 2 weeks ago. Not my first bike, been riding (and mostly fixing) a 74 Honda CB750 last few years. I live in portland oregon. i build custom drumsets on the side, custom snare drums ect. Loving my new bike, after years of riding a bike geared completely different than a harley, its taken me a while to get use to the forward controls and laid back gearing, but now that im use to it id never go back! Im 38 and really want to take my bike for a ride right now, its close to midnight though, and i feel if i started it up now, my wife and neighbors would kill me. vance and hines straight shot pipes with baffles removed.....

 

That would be way cool to fire up the bike right now. But the rest wouldn`t understand ......... So hang tight until morning and then let it rip ! Oh yeah , welcome to the HDForums. Ride safe out there.
