First Harley
Hello all, I have been riding motorcycles all my life but never owned a Harley. I always wanted one just like everybody else I imagine. A friend of mine sent me a picture of his father-in-laws 1997 Road King he had for sale and I knew it was time to buy my dream bike. Picked it up today. As corny as it sounds there is just something about when you say "my Harley" that makes me feel great. As with everybody else there are some things I'm going to change and add to give it my own touch. I can't wait to get it registered and insured and get out on the road. I work for Denso manufacturing, so I have built starters for these bikes for 23 years. This bike has one of mine on it. That's also a weird feeling know I built a part of my first Harley.
